BEYOND THE CUBE

´THIS IS NOT A CUBE´

I juxtapose two different materials, PVC and steel, where has been constructed a dialogue, both to make the reality of imbalance more prominent, and to play with individuals´ perceptions of imbalance and the feelings of precariousness which can accompany it. The work represents a response to the imbalance of imagination and perception of events generally, in everyday life.

In and out

Represents an illusionary space, one of our fantasy, from which we observe outside and inside events through physical forms. The blue line is the metaphorical border of our individual awareness, marking the distinction between the 'real' and 'unreal'. Steel forms symbolize the elements which function as objects which physically surround us in the outside world.
